Welcome to the official Calvary Chapel Harrisburg application.

Listen to the weekly Bible teaching, verse by verse, with Pastor Matt VanderVen. It’s our prayer that everyone who listens and watches will be filled with a solid diet of God’s infallible, inerrant, and inspired Word. We begin our time together each service with heartfelt praise and worship. Jesus Christ is Lord and our sincere desire is that He receive all the glory.

Pastor Matts desire is to communicate and expound the Word of God clearly and effectively. Therefore, he goes through the scriptures systematically and inductively - line by line and verse by verse - as a church fellowship.

Jesus Christ is the Head of the church, including this local fellowship. We acknowledge Him as Lord and each of the ministries has Christ at the center. Jesus is to receive all credit and glory for all that is accomplished.

More about CCHarrisburg and Pastor Matt VanderVen: The Lord placed on Pastor Matts heart a desire for the people of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. In October 2014, after several months of prayer, Pastor Matt with his wife, Lisa, and their four boys, began commuting bi-weekly from Rochester, New York to Camp Hill, Pennsylvania for a mid-week Bible study. God began drawing people to the mid-week Bible study at Prosser Hall in Camp Hill, which then led to weekly mid-week studies. The family moved from Rochester to the Harrisburg area in June 2015.

The Holy Spirit continued to add to the fellowship and in December 2015 the church body moved from Prosser Hall in Camp Hill to Shiremanstown. Once again after Gods blessings and need for more sanctuary seating, in April of 2018 the Lord provided a new building for the fellowship to gather moving to 702 Lisburn Road in Camp Hill where we are now presently located. Gods Word continues to go forward without compromise, serving Harrisburg and the surrounding communities on the East & West Shore.
